The block list is the section in the Contact module where permissions are managed to communicate from the Contact module. Depending on your DMS and your desired settings, the permission is imported and permission obtained from this place can also be exported back to other data sources such as your DMS.

From the block list menu, you have several tabs where permission is managed.
Blocked customers
This is the list of customers blocked from communicating in the Contact module. Reasons for blocking:
- From your DMS, the lock is set, this is respected in the Contact module
- You have blocked a customer by looking it up and ticking 'block'
- Customer has 18 cars or more to its name

Blocked cars
Blocked cars are always linked to a customer blocked in the Contact module. It is possible to search the list by registration number or VIN.

Unsubscribed from receiving car-related messages
Customers who have unsubscribed from receiving car-related messages can be found with email and time of unsubscription in this tab.
A deregistration can be fuelled by:
- your DMS
- by the customer via an e-mail message received

Unsubscribed to receive news and offers
Customers who have unsubscribed from receiving comemrcial messages are displayed in this tab. The time of unsubscription is shown and there are options to enrich or download unsubscribe data if other mail platforms are also used.
A deregistration can be fuelled by:
- your DMS
- by the customer via an e-mail message received

Respecting deregistrations
All messages sent via the Contact module respect the consent captured from the customer. A deregistration can be undone but you must have explicit permission to do so, of course.
