Permission to communicate with customers

As a car company, you are responsible for managing customer consent to unsolicited contact. Sometimes you need prior explicit consent to send a message but in other cases it is not necessary.

We can certainly serve you with advice to manage permissions for your business. We will inform you about the options available and our experience with different setups. We provide the infrastructure to help your business but advise to always submit the interpretation to the privacy specialist within your organisation.

Permission via Contact module or own platform

It is possible in the Contact module to link the permission to another platform in which this is centrally controlled for your company. Automatically, the information is shared via an API or other protocol.

Permission via DMS

Your DMS vendor allows you to set communication permissions. You decide which permissions you want to adopt in the Contact module and this is set for your business.

Permission via the Contact module

Basically, the customer is given an unsubscribe option from every e-mail message that is sent. If a customer unsubscribes, this is automatically processed in the Contact module.

It is possible to feed deregistrations back to your DMS system but whether this is possible for your specific DMS depends on your DMS vendor.
