2FA (two-factor authentication) is an extra layer of security on top of your password. After entering your password, you have to do a second check, such as a code from an app on your phone. From 1-1-2026, all users are required to activate this extra security to log in.
How do you activate your 2FA?
- Log in to the Contact module
- Click on 'my profile' (in the top left corner of the screen)
- Click on the button marked 'Setting up 2FA login‘
- Scan the QR code via your authenticator app (e.g. Google or Microsoft Authenticator)
- Enter the 6-digit code that appears in your app
- You will be logged out and you can log in again using your password and code via the app
