When a customer clicks on the data check hyperlink in an e-mail message, they can view and modify their data. This hyperlink includes a unique token that encrypts the URL in a way that makes it safe to display personal data without logging in.
As an additional security measure, the link is only valid for 8 days. After this period, the link will automatically expire and cannot be used again.
When a customer changes their details and confirms the change, these changes are prepared for you in the Contact module. This list is set up so that you can handle them in different ways.

- From the main menu, click on 'Your relations'.
- Then click on 'Data mutations'.
This page shows a list of customers who have confirmed or updated their details.
Overview of columns:
- Klantnr: klantnummer in uw DMS
- Customer: Name of customer
- Company: Name of your company
- Status: Treated, Processed or Ignited
- Created on: Date and time of submission
- Processed on: Date and time when you viewed or processed the change
- Actions: View, Process or Ignore
View
If you click 'view' (the icon with the eye), you will see which data has been modified. You will see the current value that is in the DMS and the value that the customer submitted.
You decide what to do with the mutations. In most situations, it is advisable to update the information in your DMS.
Process
Once you have processed the information in your DMS, you can click the tick for yourself. This confirms that you have viewed and processed the rule. After confirmation, the status is changed to 'processed' in the list.
Note! No data is automatically updated in the Contact module. Your DMS remains the source when it comes to personal data.
Ignore
If there is no mutation to process, you can click on the icon with the cross for yourself. Confirming this will change the status to 'ignored' in the overview.
Remove
If you like to keep the list as clean as possible, it is also possible to delete lines. On the left side of the rule, click the checkbox and then the 'delete' button at the top of the screen.
