We receive from your DMS and other sources certain fields that you can include in your communications to personalise messages. These include:
- customer name
- car registration number
- date of appointment
- time of the appointment
- VIN of the car
- model name of the car
- …
You can set these so-called 'merge fields' to display, depending on type.
Take an appointment date field as an example.
- Open een mailtemplate: selecteer ‘templates‘ in de ‘marketing‘ sectie
- Maak een mergeveld in de tekst aan door *| te plaatsen in de tekstconfigurator
- Select the mark field
- The moment you place your cursor outside the text box, the merge fields light up
- By clicking on the mark field, you can define a setting on the right-hand side. In the case of this date field, the date can be displayed briefly or written out in full.
